Bobcats Picked 4th in 2-6A, Chiefs Picked 3rd in 2-4A DI in 2020 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine
Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine hasn’t hit newsstands yet, but some of those who subscribe online as DCTF Insiders have received their copy in the mail.
Those lucky few in San Angelo who already have their hands on the magazine found some interesting predictions for Central and Lake View in the 2020 edition of the venerable publication.
San Angelo Central is picked fourth in their return to district 2-6A, AKA “The Little Southwest Conference”. The Bobcats won five straight district titles in 2-6A from 2013-2017 before the UIL banished them to 3-6A in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2018 and 2019. Ahead of the Bobcats in the predicted order of finish are Midland Lee, Odessa Permian, and Frenship. Abilene, Midland, and Odessa round out the bottom of the rankings.
The Lake View Chiefs are picked third out of four teams in district 2-4A DI. Picked ahead of the Chiefs are Andrews and Fort Stockton while Big Spring brings up the rear in the predicted standings.
